Sometimes you just have to hope for the best. You get into a situation where you feel you have been left to blow in the wind. Like you're on a deserted island somewhere and you wonder if you will ever get off. You hope for a boat to show up and instead you get pirates. Or maybe a boat does show up, but they ignore you because they see you as trouble even though your intentions are not bad. That is the way life is sometimes.

There are so many injustices in the world. You want to believe that people will have your best intentions in mind when in actuality they are leaving you by the side of the road with no one around to drive by and give you a lift. But it is at this time that you have to gain courage. Courage to peel back the rough edges of life and really get to know those around you and try to communicate with them the best way possible.

But in order to do that you have to suck it up so to speak. You have to not let what people say to you get to you and that is no small order. You try to have patience and talk to them. You may even reason with them, but you have to realize that they have their own motus operandi, their way of doing things and sometimes it is against what you stand for or what you think is right.

It makes me think about the trials that Jesus went through as he went around preaching. The extreme persecution he must have felt, especially when Pontius Pilate washed his hands of him and when he was spat on as He was carrying the heavy cross. Then he was nailed to the very thing he was straining to carry. He did it because He loves us. He did it because He wanted the best for all mankind in the forgiveness of sins.

As you think more and more about life you may ponder your direction. You wonder what God wants for you in your life. Sometimes you may not understand the Lord's answers, but that is not a reason to give up. It is only a situation that needs attending to.

To find the many answers that you seek you need to spend time with God. Prayer can be a great thing. You can feel blessed by the power that God can give you through prayer. He can make you feel wanted and more alive than you ever thought possible.

But it does take work. You need to spend some time away from the many commitments of life and give some time to God. He is there for you now and will give you strength.

Many times in life, things just don't make sense. You may feel like a victim to all the confusion. Like a space pod from a interstellar ship that has gotten lost and you are floating around in space wondering if you will ever get help. You want people to notice you but they are so busy trying to understand their own lives, they don't want to spend any time helping you out. And that is sad because we can all learn to get along through God as our guide and a help that is always around to guide those in need.

Why is it that when we start to understand things the way they are, something comes along and jolts our sense of reality for a loop? It catches us unaware sometimes when we least expect it. Then like a ball of yarn we unravel until all semblence of order somehow turns to chaos within us. We want more courage. We want more understanding. But these things elude us. We may crave a helping hand when none is available. We may start to think that life is a crazy thing.

This is a time to let your guard down a little bit so that God can get a foothold and come into your life and bless you and give you peace. He can be part of the healing process that you may need. When you feel like a victim that is being punished, God is there for you to help you and bless you and make your life whole again.

So make God an important part of your life and you shall inherit the love that you have only dreamed about before.

Prayer: Dear Lord. Please help me to feel your presence every day. Bless me during my daily routine and at other times. When I feel like a victim to the world, please help me and guide me and give me peace. I thank you Lord, for all your many blessings. Amen.

Benediction: Now, Lord, Bless us in our daily lives. Help us to smell the roses whenever possible, to shine our light on those less fortunate than us, and lead us in the path we should go. For you are the light that keeps our path well lit. Help us to follow it, until we meet you, in a land where milk and honey abound, a place where our most wonderful dreams are fulfilled. Amen.

Hi, my name is Bryan, a messenger of hope who would love to hear from you. God Bless.
